Jaime 張天穎自去年開始在社交媒體上分享一系列短影片，名為《本故事不純屬虛構》 (Based on True Stories) 。
這些影片靈感源自途人和朋友的故事，讓她創作出多首不同風格的歌曲，而《cozy》便是這系列的第4首作品，繼《liar》、《dootdoot》、《一個人在做晚餐》之後。

這首英語歌來自《本故事不純屬虛構》 EP. 4，靈感及題材源於朋友 Sabrina 。Jaime 和 Sabrina 以Lo-fi和R&B 的風格一同創作，
以女孩們一起共渡佳節為主題，加上帶有聖誕氣氛的編曲，有少女及慵懶的感覺，猶如冬日於家中開著暖爐攤於梳化上哼着的歌。
也希望藉着這首歌祝大家也有一個平平淡淡幸福的聖誕節。
